La Torre de Capdella

The administrative centre of the Vall Fosca is La Torre de Capdella, where we find the Romanesque chapel of St Martí de la Torre (X century). This is believed to be an unfinished building, which only preserves a tower with a decorated apse. This beautiful area offers restricted fishing in the Flamisell river or other close lakes. One can also take the Sallente cable car to lake Gento, where one can start trails to the National Park of Aigüestortes and the lake of St. Maurici.
