Sort

Historic centre of the Pallars Sobirà, Sort is one of the least populated capital of region of Catalonia. Its municipality stretches along two shores of the Noguera Pallaresa and it spans the Barranc Valley of Montardit and a great part of the Àssua Valley. Its exceptional geographical situation turns this town into an ideal place to practice adventure sports, hiking and other activities related with the active tourism. Furthermore, Sort has also a great cultural attraction since it preserves the rests of the Comptes de Pallars Castle as well as numerous medieval remains.
