Sant Julià de Lòria is located in the heart of splendid forests, mountain paths and generous nature. Situated 908 metres above sea level, its city centre is basically set on the right bank of the Gran Valira river. It currently hosts about 10,000 inhabitants and three universities: Universitat d’Andorra, Universitat Carlemany and Universitat Europea. Sant Julià de Lòria, also called Laurèdia, is perfect for Romanesque style lovers, who will be delighted by Sant Serni de Nagol chapel (11th century) and by the gorgeous spine crown used in processions that can be seen during a visit to Espai Columba. Laurèdia is also a very active place for culture and sports. A wide range of theatrical, musical and artistic events as well as competitions of all kinds of sports are held throughout the year.
