Alter Boccherini project is the result of the study of the six quintets for flute and strings G437-442 attributed to Luigi Boccherini. The only source of these quintets is a set of manuscript parts preserved in the General Archives of the Royal Palace in Madrid, which reveal important information regarding their authorship. The sixth quintet, for example, was appended subsequently: the paper, the ink and the handwriting are different from the one of the five previous quintets. However, there is a clear interest in keeping some unity through the six pieces. Can we thus state that they were all made by Boccherini? Or are
